French Open was his clear best major

His career was concentrated in the 1980s, with no Slam matches after age 27

His Grand Slam career ran from 1980 to 1991, but every listed result came between ages 16 and 27. The final two entries, both French Open R128 losses in 1990 and 1991, closed a career that had already peaked years earlier.
