Wimbledon was his clear peak

His best Grand Slam result was the Wimbledon round of 16 in 1982, and Wimbledon also produced his only R32 finishes in 1973, 1981, and 1982. Across the dataset, Wimbledon is the only Slam where he reached beyond the round of 32.

His busiest stretch came from 1977 to 1984

He played at least three Grand Slams in every season from 1977 through 1984, including four events in 1977, 1980, 1981, and 1984. That eight-year run accounts for most of his 34 tournament appearances.

He was most competitive in his mid-to-late 20s

His strongest results cluster between ages 23 and 28: the R32 at Wimbledon in 1973, multiple R32 and R64 runs from 1977 to 1981, and the R16 at Wimbledon in 1982 at age 28. After age 30, every recorded result was R128 or R64.

Australian Open was his most productive Slam by volume

He appeared in the Australian Open 10 times, more than any other Slam in the table. Those starts produced his best Australian Open result of R32, reached in 1978, 1979, and 1981.

His results declined sharply after 1982

From 1983 onward, he never advanced past the round of 128 except for one R64 at the 1986 Wimbledon and one R64 at the 1987 Australian Open. That late stretch contrasts with the earlier period that included multiple R32s and the lone R16.
