One deep run, then a long ceiling

2019 was his standout Slam season

Best stretch came in his late 20s

His strongest cluster was 2012-2015: he reached the Round of 64 or better in eight of those 16 Slam appearances, including Round of 32 at both the 2015 French Open and Wimbledon. In that span, his age ranged from 25 to 29.

Career split into two distinct phases

He played Grand Slams in 2008-2016, then returned in 2018-2022. The later phase produced his only Round of 16 and his only Round of 32 after 2015, but it also included multiple Round of 128 exits, especially in 2020 and 2022.

Australian Open was his weakest major by depth

His Australian Open results never went beyond the Round of 32, and he reached that stage only once, in 2022. Most of his Australian Open appearances ended in the Round of 128, with additional Round of 64 finishes in 2012 and 2014.
