Best Slam run came at Roland Garros in 2003

His deepest Grand Slam result was a quarterfinal at the 2003 French Open, achieved at age 25. That stands alone as his only quarterfinal and is the clear peak of his 30-tournament Slam career.

Clay was his strongest surface by far

All of his best results came at the French Open: one quarterfinal, two round-of-16 finishes, two round-of-32 finishes, and several additional wins beyond that. By contrast, his Australian Open and US Open runs never went past the round of 32.

Across 50 matches he went 20-30, and 18 of his 30 tournaments ended in the round of 128. Only five tournaments reached at least the round of 32, showing a career defined more by occasional deep runs than by consistent advancement.
