Late-career surge produced her only final and both semifinals

All three of Pegula’s deepest Slam runs came after age 28: semifinal at the 2022 Australian Open, semifinal at the 2025 US Open, and finalist at the 2024 US Open. Her best results table shows exactly one final and two semifinals.

US Open is clearly her strongest major

Across eight US Open appearances, she reached the final once, the semifinals once, the quarterfinals twice, and the round of 16 once. That is a far deeper profile than at the other Slams, where her best results top out at quarterfinals or semifinals.

2023 was her most balanced Slam season

In 2023 she reached at least the quarterfinals at three of four majors: quarterfinals at the Australian Open and Wimbledon, plus the round of 16 at the US Open and round of 32 at Roland Garros. It is the only season in the data with three results at round of 16 or better.

Her early Slam record was modest before the 2021 breakthrough

From 2015 through 2020, she never advanced beyond the round of 64 except for a round of 32 at the 2020 US Open. That changed in 2021, when she made her first quarterfinal at the Australian Open and then added another quarterfinal in 2022.

She has turned 30 into a productive Slam age

At age 30 or older, Pegula produced her finalist run at the 2024 US Open, a semifinal at the 2025 US Open, and a semifinal at the 2026 Australian Open. The data shows her age-30-plus Slam peak is stronger than any earlier stretch.
