Peak came in a four-year run from 1998 to 2001

Arazi’s best Grand Slam stretch was concentrated between ages 24 and 27: he reached the Australian Open quarterfinals in 2000, the French Open quarterfinals in 1998, and the round of 16 at the Australian Open in 1998. He also added six round-of-32 finishes across 1999-2001.

Clay and hard courts produced his deepest results

His four quarterfinals were split between the Australian Open and French Open, showing his top level on both hard and clay. By contrast, his Wimbledon best was only the round of 32, reached four times, and his US Open best was the round of 32, reached four times as well.

He was remarkably consistent in the middle of the draw

Across 81 matches, Arazi finished in the round of 32 or better 19 times: 4 quarterfinals, 1 round of 16, and 14 round-of-32 results. That concentration explains how he compiled a 46-35 Grand Slam record despite never advancing beyond the quarterfinal stage.

His final seasons were still productive, but the ceiling dropped

At ages 28 to 30, he remained competitive enough to reach at least the round of 64 in seven of his last eight Slam appearances. The lone exception was the 2004 Australian Open quarterfinal, his last and deepest run.

He debuted late and built his Slam résumé quickly

His first recorded Grand Slam result came at the 1995 US Open at age 21, and by age 24 he had already reached both a quarterfinal and a round of 16. That rapid climb set up the peak years that followed.
