Two career peaks reached the fourth round

His best Grand Slam results were two R16 finishes, at the 2014 French Open and the 2015 Australian Open. Those were his only appearances beyond the third round across 57 tournaments and 101 matches.

2014-2016 was his strongest three-year stretch

From 2014 through 2016 he produced both of his R16 runs, plus an R32 at the 2015 US Open and an R32 at the 2016 Australian Open. That span also included multiple R64 results, showing his deepest concentration of late-round results.

He was most productive in his early 30s

His deepest runs came at ages 30, 31, and 32, with the two R16s occurring at 30 and 31. By contrast, his final three Grand Slam seasons from age 33 to 36 ended no better than R32.

Australian Open and French Open were his best majors

He reached at least the third round at the Australian Open and French Open more often than at Wimbledon or the US Open, including both R16 results at those first two events. Wimbledon and the US Open never produced a result better than R32.

His career ended with a sharp drop-off

After reaching R32 at the 2017 French Open, he finished his last five Grand Slam appearances with only R64 or R128 results. His final three tournaments in 2019 all ended in the first round.
