Best Grand Slam runs came in two distinct phases

Clavet reached the round of 16 four times, but only twice in the same season: at the 1991 French Open and again at the 1996 French Open and 1998 French Open, plus Wimbledon in 1998. Those four R16 results are his clear peak outcomes in the data.
