Only one second-week run, and it came at Roland Garros in 2014

Clay has produced his strongest repeated results

His two R16-or-better outcomes are both on clay or at Roland Garros: the 2014 French Open R16 and three R32 finishes, including 2019 French Open. By contrast, his Wimbledon and US Open peaks are only R32 or R64.

His best stretch came in 2014-2015, then results flattened

From his debut Grand Slam season in 2014 through 2015, he posted R16, R64, R64, R128, and R64 finishes. After that, he never again matched the 2014 French Open run and mostly settled into R64 and R128 exits.

2021 was his strongest late-career season

At age 30, he reached the Australian Open R16 and added R64 runs at Wimbledon and the US Open. That was his only season with three results at R64 or better after 2020.

Recent Grand Slams have been almost entirely first-round exits

From 2023 through 2026, he recorded seven R128 finishes in eight appearances, with the only exception a 2024 French Open R64. That run contrasts sharply with his earlier years, when he regularly reached the third round or better.
