Peak came at 35, with a semifinal and a Wimbledon fourth round

Dibley played 38 Grand Slam tournaments and 92 matches, finishing with a 54-38 record. That volume spans 1970 through 1980, showing a long, consistent presence rather than a brief peak.

His results were strongest in his late 20s and early 30s

From age 27 through 31, he repeatedly reached at least the round of 64 or better, including a quarterfinal at 29 and round-of-32 finishes at 30 and 31. After age 32, he still produced the semifinal at 35 and a round of 16 at 35, but the results became more uneven.
