Peak came early, with his only quarterfinal at 17

Australian Open was by far his main stage

After no Grand Slam results are listed for 1986, he returned in 1987 and reached the round of 64 at the Australian Open at age 28. He then added another round of 64 at the 1990 Australian Open at age 31.

Across 67 Grand Slam matches, he went 33-34, a 49% win rate. That near-even split matches the pattern of frequent early exits, with many results in the round of 128 or round of 64.
