Her peak came early, with a Round of 16 at age 21

Medrado’s best Grand Slam result was the 1978 French Open R16, achieved at age 21. Her next-best finishes were one R32 and six R64s, so she never advanced beyond that fourth-round-equivalent peak.

She was most active in the mid-1980s, but results flattened out

From 1983 through 1988 she appeared in 18 of her 27 Grand Slam tournaments, including three straight years with three events in 1983, 1984, and 1985. In that stretch, however, every result was R128 except two R64s in 1985 and 1984.

Her only R32 came in a single tournament year

Across eight French Open appearances, she produced her best result, plus two R64s and five R128s. By comparison, Wimbledon yielded only one R32 and six R128s, while the US Open produced one R64, one R64, and six R128s.

Her Grand Slam career stretched from 19 to 31 years old

Her first recorded Slam result was the 1976 US Open R64 at age 19, and her last was three R128 exits in 1988 at age 31. That gives her a 13-year span between first and final recorded Grand Slam appearances.
