Wimbledon 1998 was his peak Grand Slam run

His best result was a single Round of 16, and it came at Wimbledon in 1998 at age 22. That stands out against his other finishes, which were mostly R128 exits and only three R32s.

His strongest stretch came early, from 1997 to 1999

All three of his deepest runs happened in his first three Grand Slam seasons: two R32s in 1997, an R16 and an R64 in 1998, and an R32 plus his only R32-level US Open result in 1999. After 1999, he never advanced beyond the third round.

US Open was his most productive major

He played the US Open seven times and produced his best spread there: one R32, three R64s, and three R128s. That is more varied and more successful than his records at the other Slams, where he never reached beyond R16.

His final Grand Slam years were a clear step down

From 2001 through 2004, every result was R128 except two R64s at the US Open in 2002 and 2003. In his last three appearances in 2004, he lost in the first round at all three events he entered.
