Peak came in 1997-2002, but never beyond the third round

Golmard’s best Grand Slam result was five Round-of-32 finishes, and every one of them came between 1998 and 2002. He never advanced past the Round of 32 in any of his 26 Slam appearances.

Australian Open was his most productive major

His strongest Slam by volume was the Australian Open: 8 appearances produced one R32, two R64s, and five R128 exits. That is more deep runs than at any other major in the data.

US Open produced his highest match total

He played the US Open 8 times and won 8 of his 20 Grand Slam matches there, including his only two Round-of-32 results at that event in 2000 and 2002. No other Slam generated as many total matches for him.

Best stretch came in his mid-20s

From age 23 through 28, he reached at least the Round of 64 in multiple seasons, including three straight years from 1997 to 1999 and another R32 in 2000 and 2002. His final two Slam appearances at age 30 both ended in the Round of 64.

Career ended with a brief late rebound

After back-to-back Round-of-128 exits at the 2003 Australian Open and French Open, he improved to Round-of-64 finishes in both Slams he played in 2004. Those were his last recorded Grand Slam results.
