Two career peaks reached the third round

Roger-Vasselin’s best Grand Slam results were two R32 finishes, both in 2007 at Wimbledon and the French Open, when he was 23. After that, he never matched that level again across his remaining 23 tournaments.

His most productive stretch came in 2012-2014

From 2012 through 2014, he reached at least the R64 in every Slam he entered and produced his only R32 outside 2007, at the 2014 Australian Open. That three-year span accounts for 12 of his 15 career match wins.

Australian Open was his strongest major by depth

He reached the R32 once at the Australian Open and the R64 three more times, giving him four results beyond the opening round there. By contrast, his French Open record includes only one R64 and three R128 exits.

His final Slam years were a clear step down

In his last four Slam appearances, from 2014 US Open through 2016 Wimbledon, he never advanced past the R64 and twice exited in the first round. That closing stretch produced just one win in four tournaments.

He was a late-career regular rather than an early breakthrough player

Roger-Vasselin played 25 Grand Slam tournaments and 40 matches overall, but 22 of those tournaments came from 2010 onward. His career span ran from 2007 to 2016, with his highest-volume seasons arriving in his late 20s and early 30s.
