Peak came in back-to-back semifinals in 1968

At Wimbledon, Graebner reached the semifinals in 1968, the quarterfinals in 1969 and 1970, then the round of 32 in 1971. After that, his Wimbledon results dropped to the round of 64 in 1972 and the round of 128 in 1974.

His career arc peaked early and then trended downward

From ages 22 to 24, he went from two quarterfinals in 1966 to a final in 1967 and then two semifinals in 1968. After age 24, his best result never again went beyond the quarterfinal stage, and his last two entries were a round of 32 and a round of 128.
