Only one second-week run, and it came at the 2006 US Open

Becker’s best Grand Slam result is a single R16 finish, achieved at the 2006 US Open at age 25. Across 36 tournaments and 55 matches, he never advanced beyond that round again.

His peak came immediately, then settled into a long plateau

In his first two Slam appearances in 2006, he reached R16 at the US Open and R64 at Wimbledon. After that, every result from 2007 through 2016 stayed between R32 and R128, with no further R16 breakthrough.

Wimbledon was his most productive major

Wimbledon produced his deepest runs after the US Open: one R64 in 2006, one in 2007, one in 2008, one in 2010, one in 2012, one in 2014, and one in 2016. That makes seven Wimbledon appearances reaching at least the third round, more than at any other Slam.

His best stretch came in 2010-2015, but it was still modest

From 2010 through 2015, he reached R64 or better in eight of 20 Slam starts, including two R32 finishes in 2015. Even in that six-year span, he never got past the third round.

Late-career results were mostly first-round exits

In his final two seasons, 2015 and 2016, he posted six R128 results in eight Slam appearances. The only exceptions were the two R32 runs in 2015 and the lone R64 at Wimbledon in 2016.
